What we cut when it isn't a windshield
Most of what comes through the shop door is a windshield. But not everything is. We also cut custom flat glass for house windows, storm doors, recreational vehicles, and flat glass for industrial equipment, whatever shape or size the job calls for.
If you have a frame that needs a pane, or a piece of equipment with a window that finally gave out, that's a job we can take on. Bring us the frame, or bring us the measurements, and we'll cut the glass to fit.

When the factory part is too much trouble
Sometimes the exact replacement is unavailable or hard to find, and when you do track it down, it can be extremely expensive to get. That's where cutting the glass ourselves changes the math.
If we have the option to cut the glass for you instead of chasing down a factory part, you get a solution to the problem, and it can save you time and money as well. It's a straightforward trade: less waiting, and often less cost.
Chapter 03
Measuring it once, cutting it right
Flat glass work starts with the measurement. We take the dimensions of the opening, or the piece being replaced, and cut a pane to match. From there it's a matter of edging and fitting the glass so it sits the way the frame was built to hold it.
It's slower, more deliberate work than a windshield replacement, and we treat it that way. A storm door or a piece of shop equipment doesn't get rushed through just because it isn't a car.
Bring it to Broad Street
The shop is at 405 N Broad St in Fremont, open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Bring in the frame if you have it, or just the measurements, and we can talk through what it will take to cut a piece that fits.
A phone call works too. Tell us what the piece is for, roughly how big it needs to be, and whether the factory part is the thing you're trying to avoid, and we'll let you know honestly whether a cut piece of flat glass solves it.
